CHARLOTTE, NC-Developers have broken ground on Gateway WestApartments, a 280-unit project in Charlotte. Faison is developingthe apartment project on 2.8 acres of land beside Gateway Centeruptown with Sereo Group Inc. The five-story building will feature280 apartments atop a two-level parking space and an8,000-square-foot retail space.
The general contractor of the project is Balfour BeattyConstruction. The project is scheduled to be completed in spring2014. Faison is also preparing to develop 200 apartment units at aSouth End site. For the full story, go to Charlotte Business Journal .
