LOS ANGELES-The Wilshire Grand hotel situated in downtown LosAngeles will be demolished to make way for an 80-story hotel. Therazing of the existing building at 930 Wilshire Blvd. is expectedstart in the coming few weeks. This week, Korean Air and projectpartner Los Angeles-based Martin Project Management sent outnotices regarding demolition.

The new hotel will comprise 900 rooms as well as 400,000 squarefeet of retail and office space. Construction is scheduled to befinished in 2016. For the full story, go to Los Angeles Business Journal.
