BOSTON-A South Boston developer is planning to transform an oldCatholic church building on East Fourth Street into an apartmentbuilding. Jon Cronin, the restaurateur who opened the Playwrightand Boston Beer Garden nearby on East Broadway, will preserve theexterior of the four-story building.
