NEW YORK CITY-The real estate community packed Gotham HallWednesday night for Joan’s Legacy: Uniting Against Lung Cancer, theannual fundraising event named in memory of Joan ScarangelloMcNieve, a nonsmoker who lost her nine-month battle with thedisease in 2001 at age of 47. Founded in ‘01 as Joan’s Legacy: TheJoan Scarangello Foundation, the organization changed its name toUniting Against Lung Cancer, bringing other groups into the fold.One of the highlights of the evening was its traditional silentauction.
