SEATTLE-Amazon.com's proposal for an office project in downtownSeattle has been conditionally approved by the Seattle Departmentof Planning and Development. The three-block,3.3-million-square-foot project will span on Seventh Avenue betweenBlanchard and Virginia streets.

Architects of NBBJ, which is designing the office project, saidthis summer that the first phase of the project could start inabout a year. The first phase will include a 37-story tower, retailspace, 1,064 underground parking stalls and a 2,000-seat meetingfacility. For the full story, go to Puget Sound Business Journal .
