BALTIMORE-The city's design panel has approved initial plans fora 208-room hotel in Harbor East. Besides guest rooms, theeight-story hotel will have nearly 15,000 square feet of retailspace. Bethesda developer Ken Finkelstein is planning to replacethe old Bohager warehouse on Fleet Street and Central Avenue withthe new hotel.

Finkelstein's Englewood LLC and Baltimore-based Chesapeake RealEstate Group will manage the hotel project. The developer isplanning to start construction in spring 2013 and open the hotel insummer 2014. For the full story, go to Baltimore Business Journal .
