LONG ISLAND CITY, NY-Shapeways has leased a 25,000-square-footspace at 30-02 48th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens for 10years. The asking rent for the second-floor space of thethree-story warehouse was $15 per square foot. Mark Karasick is theowner of the property. Shapeways has also inked a 6,000-square-footlease at a 12,000-square-foot building at 419 Park Avenue South toaccommodate its front-office and sales staff.
