MRP, AEW Partner to Develop Mixed Use Project

ALEXANDRIA, VA-The final development, which will be at the Huntington Metro Station, calls for 360 apartments, a hotel and a 260,000-square foot office building.

ALEXANDRIA, VA-MRP Realty and AEW Capital Management are teaming up to develop a mixed-used property at the Huntington Metro Station here. The partners, via a JV, acquired 2550 Huntington Ave. in late December and have rezoned the six-acre parcel to build a 360 apartment units, a 110,000-square-foot hotel and a 260,000 square foot office building.
