PALM BEACH, FL-At least the workers at the Ritz-CarltonPalm Beach hotel won't take a hit from the protractedbattle between ownership and management.

After sending a notice to state authorities last week of apotential layoff of 452 workers at the hotel, the ownership,RC/PB Inc., released a statement today saying, “Wehave offered employees their jobs at existing pay and benefits." Inaddition, hotel employees staying on will be able to roll overtheir tenure and sick days, according to the South Florida BusinessJournal.

RC/PB is taking over control of the luxury hotel on July 1 fromRitz-Carlton parent Marriott International. RC/PB has decided torename the hotel the Eau Palm Beach Resort &Spa. See story in the South Florida BusinessJournal.
