DETROIT-Meridian Health Plan's $111-millionconsolidation plan may result in the construction of a new 16-storyoffice building downtown across from the Compuwareheadquarters.
The Detroit Brownfield Redevelopment Authorityboard is expected to consider on Wednesday tax incentives valued at$27 million for the new 320,000-square-foot building to bedeveloped by Schostak Bros. & Co.
Approximately 620 of Meridian employees in Detroit wouldconsolidate into the building by 2017, according to Crain's ChicagoBusiness. Employees would be shifted from Meridian offices at OneKennedy Square, 777 Woodward Ave., and the at 1001 WoodwardAve.
