MENLO PARK, CA-Facebook Inc. has completed thepermit process and is ready to go with construction its newWest Campus here.
The Silicon Valley Business Journal, citing cityrecords, said ground work would begin this week. The social mediagiant has demolished the existing structures completed grading the22-acre parcel.
Facebook will build a 430,000-square-footproject, and award winning architect FrankGehry will lead the design. The striking plans depict anenormous single room on pylons over parking, with trees on theroof.
