BALTIMORE—Those who crave local Baltimore fare will findfamiliar dining options at the Horseshoe CasinoBaltimore, which is expected to open its doors in the latesummer of this year.

Area restaurants Tark's Grill, HeavySeas, the Mallow Bar, Tark's atthe 'Shoe, Lenny's Delicatessen andPie-Zetta will comprise the “BaltimoreMarketplace,” a casual dining area on the first floor of the$442-million gaming venue being built in South Baltimore, accordingto the Baltimore Business Journal.

“Our Baltimore Marketplace concept will feature a full range offlavors and fare,” says Robert Viox, vicepresident of food and beverage for the casino. “By bringing thesearea restaurants into the casino, we are creating a unique venuethat incorporates great companies that will be familiar to many ofour guests.”
