CONSHOHOCKEN, PA—Philadelphia-based Equus CapitalPartners has decided to scrap plans to build an apartmentcomplex on West Elm Street here, opting instead to build a newoffice building at the site.

The firm had looked to build 300 apartment nits at the 20-acresite it acquired in 2011. However, Equus is now seeking to build anew seven-story 320,000-square-foot building there, according tothe Philadelphia Business Journal.

Wulff Architects designed the office building,which would feature such amenities as dining and exercisefacilities. Floor plates are to be approximately 45,000 squarefeet.
