TULSA–Home furnishings retailer West Elm is opening a new retail store in Tulsa, Okla. Located in the outdoor shopping complex Utica Square, the 10,000-square-foot-plus store will be the second location in Oklahoma for the Brooklyn, N.Y.-based brand. (The other is in Oklahoma City.) It is set to open next Thursday, Aug. 28.

Designed to reflect the cultural and architectural heritage of Tulsa, it will feature a curated selection of products made in the state, as part of West Elm’s LOCAL initiative. A limited edition Tulsa tote bag, designed by local letterpress studio Ruff House Art, will be given away to the first 300 shoppers with a $50 minimum purchase.
