TEMECULA, CA—In the past, commercial real estate has beenpredominantly a competitive market dominated by men. In recentyears, women have taken a stronger hold of the market, allowingmore opportunities for females to enjoy this fast-paced andcompetitive career path. That is according to locally basedCyndi Light, SVP and partner of ColdwellBanker Commercial Sudweeks Group Retail Division.

“Woman believe in networking and helping each other becomesuccessful,” she recently told sister publication Real EstateForum, where she appeared as a Woman of Influence.

One thing Light explains is that she feels fortunate to be apart of her company mentor program because it allows her to giveher years of experience and knowledge to younger female associates;helping these women navigate through their chosen career. “It's notonly about making money but also about taking excellent care ofyour clients so they become lifelong associates.”
