ORLANDO, FL—Acosta’s headquarter buildings just traded hands. The sale includes two single-tenant office buildings: one in Jacksonville, FL and the other in Charlotte. Acosta is an outsourced sales and marketing agency serving consumer packaged goods companies and retailers in North America.

The Jacksonville office building sold for $15.79 million. The Charlotte office property sold for $9.31 million. The deals were sale-leasebacks.

Douglas K. Mandel, a first vice president investments in Marcus & Millichap‘s Fort Lauderdale office, represented Acosta. He also secured both buyers.

“The combination of the strength of Acosta’s corporate guarantee, the properties’ physical locations and today’s strong lending environment made these offerings very attractive,” says Mandel. Acosta’s client base includes global consumer packaged goods companies such as Clorox, Coca-Cola, ConAgra, Heinz, Kraft Foods, Nestlé and Procter & Gamble, and leading consumer electronics companies such as Microsoft and Samsung.

A New York-based REIT purchased the Jacksonville office building. Located at 6600 Corporate Center Parkway in Jacksonville, the Acosta corporate headquarters sits on the south and east side of Corporate Center Parkway in the 95 Corporate Center commercial corridor. The three-story office building is 88,062 square feet and has an on-site, 423-space parking lot.

A partnership from San Diego acquired the Charlotte office building. Located at 2800 Westoak Drive in Charlotte, the Acosta regional headquarters is on the south side of the intersection of Yorkmont Road and Beam Road in the Westoak Business Park. The building has 48,000 rentable square feet and is strategically situated on a 4.46-acre parcel.
