Mike Chase, VP with the Boston-based STAG, says his company buys one- and two-tenant properties throughout the country, including secondary and tertiary markets such as Iowa. "This is one of the largest third-party call center providers in the country," he tells GlobeSt.com. "The building is long-term leased to a strong-credit tenant."
He says the Sergeant Bluff area is a popular place for call centers, with half a dozen in the area. "There's been a few that have just been constructed and leases signed," Chase says. Lease rates for the properties run from $10 to $14 per sf, net. He would not discuss the length of the Stream lease or the specific rate. Jeff Oram and Jeff Dunne with CBRE Institutional Group represented the seller while Chase represented his firm.
