The unnamed student housing project will be completed in timefor the 2009-2010 school year and managed by Campus Advantage Inc.of Austin. EE Reid Construction Co. of Sugar Land is the generalcontractor, while Humphreys & Partners Architects LP isdesigning the project, designing it an "e-Urban" facility.

David Wallace, partner with the Sugar Land development company,says the design concept is slightly different from the standardoff-campus student housing, in that it reduces wasted space byeliminating corridors and hallways, which helps indoor climatecontrol. "This improves efficiency and cuts costs," he adds. "Thatmeans we can reduce the rental factor to students."
