Clifford Deveny, president of Summa Physicians Inc., tellsGlobeSt.com that his firm will occupy most of the building. Theother offices will be leased out multi-tenant, he says.

When finished in spring 2010, the building will offer outpatientservices, a physician medical office building and an ambulatorysurgery center, as well as onsite diagnostics, physical andoccupational therapy and lab services. "It's expensive to build ahospital. The trend these days is to build office buildings thatcan offer these services to residents," Deveny says. The project isabout a mile from Medina General Hospital.

The new center is on 10 acres, with another 20 acres secured toallow for future development. The Medina area has a lot of demandfor medical services, Deveny says. "The northeast is one of thefastest growing areas in the state," he says.
