NEW YORK CITY-After state health officials recently rejected arestructuring plan, Interfaith Medical Center inBrooklyn has until Thursday to submit a revised closure plan to theState Department of Health.

New York State Department of Health Commissiioner KarenWestervelt on July 19 rejected a restructuring plandesigned to save Interfaith Medical Center and directed thehospital's trustees to resubmit a modified plan to close thehospital, which is in bankruptcy.

Interfaith officials say they plan to continue pursuing optionsto keep the hospital open. See story in the Wall Street Journal.
