PHILADELPHIA-After two years of debate, BowmanProperties will soon begin construction on aretail/residential project at 8200 Germantown Ave. in the ChestnutHill section of the city.

Richard Snowden, owner of Bowman Propertiesbased in Philadelphia, has envisioned a $30-million project at theformer Magarity Ford site. The developer expects to beginconstruction on the venture within three to five weeks, after thebuilder completes the approval process, according to NewsWorks.org.Demolition of the dealership has been completed.

The project will be anchored by a Fresh Marketgrocery store and will also include 17 condominium units on fourfloors above the retail space. See story at NewsWorks.org.
