FORT COLLINS, CO-The renovation ofFoothills Mall may be a year late, and be 10%short, compared to earlier plans.

Construction on the $313million project is now expected to start this winter inMidtown Fort Collins, according to a report in TheColoradoan. Improvements will include a new100,000 square foot building for an existingSears store, the paper says. That store will becompleted first, and the mall would be partially open inspring 2015 and fully open in time for holidayshopping. Mall officials originally hoped to open the mall in timefor the 2014 holiday season.
