AUGUSTA, GA-An affiliate of McDonough, GA.-based Bennett International Group LLC, has renewed its 237,500-square-foot lease at 922 Molly Pond Road here.
The deal in the Richmond County submarket of Augusta was reported by brokerage firm Transwestern's industrial services group.
Bennett Distribution operates five warehousing and distribution facilities in Georgia, with more than 1.1 million square feet located in the Augusta market.
“Augusta serves as a key market in the Southeast for supply chain management," states Buddy Hill, senior vice president with Transwestern's industrial services group. "Bennett was able to renew its lease at a competitive rate in an increasingly tight industrial market, allowing it to continue to provide best-in-class third-party warehousing and transportation services to its current and future client base."
Hill represented Bennett Distribution Services in the transaction. Scott Atkins, vice president with Meybohm Commercial Properties of Augusta, represented the building owner in the deal.
