PHILADELPHIA—Locally-based general contracting firmDomus Inc. has been retained by thePhiladelphia Housing Authority for a $20.9-millioncontract for the redevelopment of the Blumbergapartment complex here.

The contract calls for Domus to oversee the first phase of therehabilitation plan for the Blumbeg complex, according to thePhiladelphia Business Journal.

The firm will be responsible for renovating a seniors apartmenttower, constructing 57 rental homes on an adjacent vacant parceland designing new streets in the Sharswood neighborhood.
