BALTIMORE—With its opening a few weeks away, the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore has filled 1,900 of its projected 2,000 to 2,200-member workforce.

The casino is still accepting applications for all positions, according to General Manager Chad Barnhill, who notes that 1,600 new employees began work at the casino on July 28. They joined 300 supervisors that were already working at the facility.

The casino is gearing up for its Aug. 26 grand opening. Control days are scheduled for Aug. 18 and 21 to ensure the facility complies with all state regulations, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

“We're in great shape with hiring,” Barnhill says. “The energy level of the team members that have come on board has been fantastic.” See story in the Baltimore Business Journal.
