BALTIMORE—With its opening a few weeks away, theHorseshoe Casino Baltimore has filled 1,900 of itsprojected 2,000 to 2,200-member workforce.
The casino is still accepting applications for all positions,according to General Manager Chad Barnhill, whonotes that 1,600 new employees began work at the casino on July 28.They joined 300 supervisors that were already working at thefacility.
The casino is gearing up for its Aug. 26 grand opening. Controldays are scheduled for Aug. 18 and 21 to ensure the facilitycomplies with all state regulations, according to the BaltimoreBusiness Journal.
