BETHESDA, MD—Suburban Hospital has scheduled agroundbreaking ceremony for its $230-million expansion project onTuesday, Oct. 28.

The project calls for a 235,000-square-foot addition to the70-year-old hospital as well as a new parking garage. Hospitalofficials have stated that the existing facility is too small todeal with its current patient load, according toBethesdaNow.com.

“We are very excited to be moving ahead with this project,” sayshospital spokeswoman Ronna Borenstein-Levysaid.
