MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ—Rockefeller Group DevelopmentCorp.'s mixed-use plan to redevelop theHoneywell campus here secured a key approval latelast week that will allow the developer to move forward with siteplan approval.

On Thursday the Morris Township Planning Boardapproved a general development plan for the project that calls forthe construction of 235 townhomes and 900,000 square feet of officespace at the 147-acre site. The approval granted last week givesRockefeller Group 12 years to complete the entire project,according to the Morris News Bee.

Honeywell is expected to sell the site to Rockefeller Group andK. Hovnanian Homes, which together plan toredevelop the property. The two companies announced plans tosubdivide and purchase the property pending the general developmentapproval.
