BETHESDA, MD—Financing firm RapidAdvance has signed on as the first tenant at Carr Properties' speculative office building at 4500 East West Highway here.

RapidAdvance will occupy 28,000 square feet at the 220,400-square-foot building. The firm will relocate from its current offices at 7316 Wisconsin Ave., according to the Washington Business Journal.

Transwestern executive managing directors Keith Foery and Phil McCarthy represented Carr Properties along with senior vice president Jovi McAndrew.

Carr Properties broke ground on the building in November 2012 and held an open house last week that showcased the office building's completion. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
