PHILADELPHIA—Mayor Michael Nutter, speaking ata meeting of the International Association of GamingRegulators on Tuesday, pressed the PennsylvaniaGaming Control Board to select the city's second casinolicensee.

"The record's been closed for some time," Nutter noted. Casinolicense applicants testified before the board eight months ago atthe Pennsylvania Convention Center, but the board has yet to awardthe city's second casino license, according to The Inquirer.

The mayor said the board should take "decisive action." GamingControl Board member Greg Fajt, in response toNutter's remarks, said, "The mayor is anxious for us to make adecision. We're still deliberating and hopefully we'll make adecision soon." See story in The Inquirer.
