PHILADELPHIA—Mayor Michael Nutter, speaking at a meeting of the International Association of Gaming Regulators on Tuesday, pressed the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to select the city's second casino licensee.

"The record's been closed for some time," Nutter noted. Casino license applicants testified before the board eight months ago at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, but the board has yet to award the city's second casino license, according to The Inquirer.

The mayor said the board should take "decisive action." Gaming Control Board member Greg Fajt, in response to Nutter's remarks, said, "The mayor is anxious for us to make a decision. We're still deliberating and hopefully we'll make a decision soon." See story in The Inquirer.
