LEESBURG, VA—The Peterson Co. has signedWalmart as its first tenant for its plannedCrosstrail development here.
A year after securing zoning approval for the project, Petersonhas submitted a site plan to Loudoun County for a190,000-square-foot Walmart location on a site between the LeesburgExecutive Airport and the Dulles Greenway, according to theWashington Business Journal.
The Walmart store, which is the size of its Supercenterlocations, will be located on Hawling Farm Boulevard on a portionof the 58-acres Peterson had rezoned for up to 550,000 square feetof retail and 100,000 square feet of office space.
