BRYN MAWR, PA—Construction could begin early next year on the$20-million mixed-use Bryn Mawr Village projecthere.

The project to be developed by Blank AschkenasyProperties at 909 Lancaster Ave. calls for approximately35,000 square feet of retail space and 17,000 square feet of officespace, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.

"Bryn Mawr is really the center and the heart of Lower Merion inmany ways," says Paul Aschkenasy, president ofWest Conshohocken, PA-based Blank Aschkenasy Properties. "These twoblocks have struggled and there has be en a hole in this area for along time. For that market, it has been somewhat of a blight."
