LAWRENCE, NJ—Retailer Costco has acquired 17acres of land near the Quaker Bridge Mall for $9.4 million for anew store here.

The site plan for the project calls for a 156,000-square-footstore that will include a liquor store a pharmacy, an opticalservices section, a tire sales and installation center, and a16-pump gas station on a separate portion of the property,according to the Times of Trenton.

The property was acquired from the United States LandResources of Morristown. There's currently 200,000 squarefeet of industrial space on the site that must be demolished beforeCostco can build its new store, according to U.S. Land Resourcesofficial.
