MAPLE LAWN, MD—IronNet Cybersecurity, which is headed by a former National Security Director, is relocating operations here by next spring.

The DC-based company is headed by retired Gen. Keith Alexander, who founded U.S. Cyber Command and retired as director of the National Security Agency in March. The firm develops systems for banks and other private clients to detect and prevent hackers, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Howard County officials say IronNet Cybersecurity will lease 6,700-square-feet in its new property, developed and managed by St. John Properties and Greenebaum Enterprises. See story in the Baltimore Sun.
