NEW YORK CITY—Two sizeable leases have been signed by financialfirms for space on Avenue of the Americas.

Nordea Bank is shifting into 1211 Sixth Ave.—where it will take42,000 square feet—from Madison Ave, reports Crain's New YorkBusiness. The Scandanavia-based bank is taking the 1.9million-square-foot tower's entire 23rd floor. The building isowned by a partnership between Beacon Capital Partners and IvanhoeCambridge.

Meanwhile, another financial firm, RBC Capital Markets, isexpanding its space in the 44-story tower. The company, which is aninvestment-banking arm of the Royal Bank of Canada, is growing intoapproximately 63,000 square feet—about 15,000 more than it had. Itis also extending its lease at the property.
