BALTIMORE—Officials with Comstock Partners ofReston, VA and Chicago-based InterPark Holdingsare expected to present plans for a mixed-use project on East PrattStreet that will feature rental apartments and a new hotel.

The plan for the Inner Harbor site calls for a 200-room hotel,approximately 400 apartment units, retail space and about 500parking spaces, according to Kimberly A. Clark,executive vice president of the Baltimore Development Corp. Thedeveloper will release the plans Thursday at a meeting of thecity's Urban Design & Architecture ReviewPanel, according to the Baltimore Sun.

“I think it's a viable project and I think the timing's right,"Clark says. "Baltimore is—I really don't like to say it's on thelaunching pad, but it's taking off. It's crazy. It's reallybecoming a place to be."
