BELLEVUE, WA—Schnitzer West said this week thatit is poised to being work on Centre 425, a16-story project at 425 106th Ave. N.E., where a Bank ofAmerica branch recently closed. When it opens in 2016,Bank of America will open a branch in the new building, accordingto a recent report in the Puget Sound BusinessJournal.

Centre 425, is among three projects under construction inBellevue, and the articlesays it has been six years since the cityhas seen this much development activity. Trammell CrowCompany is at work on a 19-story buidling andKemper Development has plans for 31 stories. Thethree projects total just over 1.5 million squarefeet, the Journal says.

So far only Bank of America has been confirmed tenant for Centre425, but Seattle-based Schnitzer West said it is in discussionswith several other tenants.
