BALTIMORE—The H&S Bakery distribution center in Fells Point is to be redeveloped into a mixed-use, mid-rise project that will feature office and retail space.
H&S Properties Development Corp. has proposed the redevelopment project. Northeast Foods CEO Bill Paterakis says the building that will replace the one-story distribution center at 601 S. Eden St. is likely to be of similar height than the new eight-story Hyatt Place hotel nearby, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.
Northeast Foods recently opened the bakery's new distribution center in the Hollander 95 Business Park. That facility replaces the outmoded Fells Point building.
Preliminary designs for the new Fells Point building call for housing a large national retailer on the second floor, according to Paterakis. The first floor would also be dedicated to retail. See story in the Baltimore Business Journal.
