BALTIMORE—The H&S Bakery distributioncenter in Fells Point is to be redeveloped into a mixed-use,mid-rise project that will feature office and retail space.

H&S Properties Development Corp. hasproposed the redevelopment project. Northeast Foods CEOBill Paterakis says the building that will replacethe one-story distribution center at 601 S. Eden St. is likely tobe of similar height than the new eight-story Hyatt Place hotelnearby, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

Northeast Foods recently opened the bakery's new distributioncenter in the Hollander 95 Business Park. That facility replacesthe outmoded Fells Point building.
