JERSEY CITY, NJ—Gebroe-Hammer Associates has arranged the $21 million sale of a four-property Hudson County multi-family portfolio, with units located throughout Jersey City and Hoboken. Nicholas Nicolaou, GH vice president and the firm's Hudson County market specialist, exclusively represented the seller, a long-time Gebroe-Hammer client, and the buyer, a private investment group with additional holdings throughout Hudson County. More than 20 competitive offers were submitted for the 159 apartment-unit and six commercial-unit portfolio.

NEWARK, NJ—Newark Regional Business Partnership relocated its headquarters to The Berger Organization's Military Park Building this summer, leasing 10,000 square feet and bringing four additional local non-profit groups to its space on the building's 18th and 19th floors. The organization's commitment represents the latest in a series of new leases and renewals at the 250,000-square-foot, 89-year-old property in recent months.
PHILADELPHIA, PA—ULI Philadelphia, the tri-state District Council of the global non-profit Urban Land Institute, has appointed Jay Appleton as sponsorship chair, Megan Leinart as membership chair and Thomas Smithgall as regional satellites chair. ULI Philadelphia District Council chair Christopher M. Hager PE made the appointments.
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ—The law firm Leanza & Agrapidis PC has renewed its lease and expanded its presence at Heights Plaza, 777 Terrace Ave. in Hasbrouck Heights. The firm will occupy nearly 4,000 square feet at the class A office building, owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ—CW Solutions, a national real estate services firm focusing on the utilities and wireless telecommunications industries, will establish its new corporate headquarters at Two Tower Center in East Brunswick, NJ. The new office supports CW Solutions' rapid and projected business expansion, and provides space for the company's growing team.
WESTWOOD, NJ – HFF has closed the $56.5 million sale of a four-property, 276-unit multi-housing portfolio owned by Hartz Mountain Industries in Westwood and River Vale in Bergen County, NJ. Kushner Companies purchased the properties.
MADISON, NJ—CBRE's Institutional Properties team of Jeffrey Dunne, Kevin Welsh, Brian Schulz and Frank Maresca, and Alec Monaghan, of the firm's Global Corporate Services unit, represented Maersk in the sale of 2 Giralda Farms, in Madison, for $53.3 million. The team also identified the buyer, American Realty Capital Global Trust Inc.
