WOODSTOCK, GA-Atlanta-based Hedgewood Properties Inc. plans 60,000 sf of retail and restaurant space to complement the brick townhomes and condominium flats scheduled to be built in this 125-year-old Cherokee County community, about 20 miles north of Downtown Atlanta.
ORLANDO-The Houston office of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP arranges the five-year acquisition financing for the Tomorrow Fund through Cleveland, OH-based KeyBank Real Estate Capital. The 26-acre office park, which comprises 10 buildings totaling 271,051 sf, sold for $15.7 million or $57.92 per sf.
DECATUR, GA-Prices at the 168-unit, seven-story Decatur Renaissance, near the MARTA rail station, will start at $160,000. The project is scheduled for a fall completion in Downtown's special pedestrian district, about seven miles east of Downtown Atlanta.

TAMPA, FL-A total 55% of the 1.3 million sf of new retail construction coming online this year will be unanchored. Single-tenant construction makes up the next largest segment with CVS and Walgreens continuing to penetrate the market, according to a new analysis by Marcus & Millichap.
ATLANTA-The Boca Raton, FL-based apartment operator buys the 272-unit, high-end Gables Druid Hills in the affluent Buckhead district for $33.2 million and sells its 603-unit Lakes at Indian Creek in the metro area for $26 million.
ORLANDO-Orange County collected a record $10.9 million in April on its 5% hotel room tax, a 23% increase over April 2003 revenue, says county comptroller Martha O. Haynie. If collections continue at their seven-month average of nearly $9.5 million, the annualized total could hit $113.4 million, topping the highest-ever collection year of $108.2 million in 2000.
