EDGEWATER, FL-Lake Mary, FL investor Thomas Krug has signed an agreement in principle to buy 60 waterfront acres from Volusia County for $3 million or $50,000 per acre ($1.15 per sf), 40 miles northeast of Downtown Orlando and 20 miles south of Daytona Beach.

ORLANDO-With hotel occupancies in the doldrums (averaging 40% to 60%), the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, headed by Bill Peeper, plans a six-month advertising barrage at cities within driving distance to Orlando's attractions.
