MESA, AZ-A trio of investors has sold its 19,200-sf retail center at the corner of Broadway and Dobson roads in Mesa. A Tempe-based investor puts up about $1.5 million or in excess of $75.50 per sf for the 96%-occupied holding.
PHOENIX-The slowing economy has finally hit the retail market, where vacancy is up a full percentage point from last year at this time. The 6.1% rate comes with negative absorption in four of nine submarkets, according to Grubb & Ellis' latest Arizona report.

PHOENIX-SunAmerica Investments will break ground in August on a 1.1 million-sf office campus on 25 acres that it has owned for several years. Washington Park will feature on-site amenities such as retail and hotel as bait for Fortune 500 companies.
GLENDALE, AZ-Edu-Vision, a division of the College of Allied Health, has leased 20,000 sf in a growing educational hub in the West Valley. The tenant will set up classrooms in Glendale's Brookwood Commerce Center.
