SCOTTSDALE, AZ-A California investment team has closed on a $2.6-million purchase of a two-building office property in the city's northern tier. The Scottsdale-based sellers have realized $159.50 per sf in the sale.
PHOENIX-It's going to be a slow year, says a Grubb & Ellis VP in analyzing second-quarter results for the office sector. Vacancy is riding at 15.2%. Factor in sublease space and it's closer to 18%. But, he predicts, it's not permanent.
PHOENIX-Jess and Barbara Nicks of Scottsdale have acquired their second CSK Auto store in a year. The 7,000-sf freestanding retail site has fetched $1.1 million. CSK Auto also operates Checker Auto Parts.
PHOENIX-The 267-unit SylMar Apartments in northwest Phoenix has brought $10.5 million from New York-based Renaissance Housing LLC. Harsch Investment Corp. of Portland, OR is the seller in the freshly closed sale.
PHOENIX-Coronado, CA-based investor James Webb has sold his 60-unit Vista Village Apartments for $2.4 million to Phoenix investment firm, Parry Holdings. The purchase price equates to $39,333 per unit for the centrally located complex.
PHOENIX-A 31,300 industrially zoned parcel in north Phoenix has commanded $219,300 from a manufacturer of prefab fireplaces. The land is located in the Deer Valley Commerceplex. In another deal, a charter school has leased a prime retail site in Tempe.
PHOENIX-San Diego's Price Enterprises has acquired two retail centers in Mesa and Tempe in a $55.3-million deal cut with Phoenix Coyotes' owner Ellman Cos. Not only is it a good time to sell, but two Glendale projects are keeping the firm busy.
PEORIA, AZ-PDG America already has a $10-million plan in the works to expand the 100,000-sf Peoria Station, which it has just bought for $11.2 million. More shop space and a child care facility are in the retail center's future.
GLENDALE, AZ-A group of Chicago investors has closed a $4.6-million deal in the Valley's healthiest industrial market. The Glendale property, a 106,000-sf warehouse, has garnered $43.50 per sf for seller Jim Lewis of Denver.
CHANDLER, AZ-Fairfield Residential has started yet another apartment complex in the Valley. The 288-unit Cantera in Chandler is being positioned on 20 acres, recently bought for more than $2 million.
