ORANGE COUNTY, CA-According to a recent report released by real estate research firm PPR, the Southland's construction pipeline has remained fairly steady over the past two years, while Northern California has experienced drastic shifts in new construction.

SANTA ANA, CA-The Cost Mesa-based company purchases two buildings at 2921 and 2923 Tech Center here. It plans to expand its auto repair shop to the new Santa Ana location.

IRVINE, CA-The Irvine-based developer has received a $9.5-million commitment to refinance its Las Vegas property, Lake Tropicana Timeshare Resort and Towers. The company will refinance its $6.5-million mortgage and $3-million Phase I funding at 9%.

SANTA ANA, CA-A Newport Beach-based LLC scoops up the 100-unit complex. Known as Mile Square Apartments, the property dates back to 1976.

ALISO VIEJO, CA-The restaurant chain completes a lease transaction to occupy 16,445 sf at 27081 Aliso Creek Rd. It has already moved its corporate headquarters to the new site.

TUSTIN, CA-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gets $2.3 million for the Tustin parcel. The buyer, Institute de L'Union Chretienne de St. Chaumond, plans to develop the residentially zoned property.

INLAND EMPIRE, CA-The state funded organization, Ability Counts Inc., will occupy 37,000 sf of industrial space in Corona and 33,248 of industrial space in Riverside. The transactions have a combined value of $2.2 million.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA-The event, which centered on the theme "back to basics," packed more than 1,000 attendees into Anaheim's Disneyland Hotel. Diversification was one of the hottest topics at the conference, which featured keynote speakers James Carville and Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr.
