PHOENIX-Couche-Tard, owner of Circle K, is working toward a November closing with Shell Oil Products of Houston. The buyer will acquire 20 deeds and two leases in the takeover, which will transition the locations to Circle K stores with Shell pumps.

TEMPE, AZ-The 24,452-sf Crossroads of Tempe goes under contract for $8.9 million in less than a week of marketing. New construction, 95% occupancy and a location at a busy corner drive a bidding war ending with a California retail buyer racing past the competition.
PHOENIX-The financial services giant will set up a 6,000-sf bank branch in the lobby of the former Bank of America Tower and light another 26,000 sf on floors 15 and 16 for the 200-employee team. Move-in is set for Q1 2005.
PHOENIX-Ribomed Biotechnologies is planning a February 2005 move into the 30,183-sf building at 714 W. Van Buren St., now being retooled with lab space. The new owner will occupy most of the space and lease 5,000 sf to 10,000 sf to another biotech firm.
HOUSTON-Local homebuilder HOAR Construction and an engineering firm, AOA Geophysics, take a combined 10,670 sf at Briar Forest Crossing. The new deals let occupancy hug 90% versus the one-time low of 32%.
