HOUSTON-An 81,822-sf building in southeast Houston has gone for less than $2 million in a deal between a Crow Family holding company and Austin-based Capital Commercial Investments. The 39-year-old warehouse is occupied by Continental Can.

HOUSTON-United Investors Realty Trust shareholders will vote Sept. 21 on a proposed merger with Equity One Inc. of Florida. The financially troubled REIT, based in Houston, will mail proxy materials in early August to eligible voters.

HOUSTON-It's not the Boeing Co.'s headquarters that's landed in Texas, but it's just as prestigious. The aerospace giant has inked a seven-year, 157,000-sf lease near NASA in Clear Lake for the International Space Station Program.

HOUSTON-Crescent Real Estate Equities is kicking in about 5,000 parking spaces to the July 28 groundbreaking of Houston's Countdown to Downtown. The groundbreaking is for convention center expansion and complementary hotel project.
