BOSTON-Harvard University's bid of $75 million for 90 acres in Allston looked like a shoo-in, but some officials are objecting to the sale of the property, which is right near a number of rail yards. The Turnpike Authority owns the acreage.
BOSTON-$8.5 million in financing is secured for 131 Tremont St., an eight-story multi-use building located here in the Downtown Crossing district. The building has retail and office space, along with student housing in its top four floors.

NORWELL, MA-$10 million in financing is secured by a freestanding Super Stop & Shop supermarket, located at 468 Washington St., which consists a 59,919-sf store and a 11,300-sf mezzanine.
BOSTON-The state's environmental agency wants the developers of the Columbus Center project to disclose additional financial information, study other design alternatives and provide analyses on transportation. Industry experts see a dangerous precedent for other developers.
BOSTON- The law firm of Kearney Donovan & McGee, Housing Investments Inc. and Trinity Financial are all moving into 40 Court St., taking a total of 14,628 sf in the 115,000-sf building.
BOSTON-Atlas Investment Group got an $8.1 million acquisition/bridge loan for The Dover Residences, a 225,000-sf, mixed-use project at 1166 Washington St. The project will consist of 133 residential units and 14,000 sf of retail space.
BOSTON-One Brigham Circle, a 190,000-sf mixed-use development project being brought out of the ground by a New Boston Fund Inc. JV, has signed on Stop & Shop, Walgreens, Fleet Bank and Citizens Bank as retail tenants.
