AUSTIN-Rob Solomon has stepped down as USOL Holdings' CEO. Solomon will remain as board chairman while Jim Livingston takes over the post on an interim basis in a consolidation move. USOL Holdings is a multifamily high-tech provider.

AUSTIN-A former Dell Computer executive, now CEO for a Nevada-based firm, is bringing the bulk of the operation home to Austin. Valence Technology is looking for space in the state capital and hopes to be up and running by Aug. 1.

AUSTIN-Michael Stone, a director for the now-defunct StorageProvider, has been picked to set up an Austin office for Dallas-based Cawley International. Stone already is working with a national account, but he's not identifying the client as yet.
