Valley National announced on Feb. 13 it planned to engage in a sale/leaseback on a total of 29 properties that includes 28 branches and one corporate location for a total aggregate purchase price of approximately $107 million.

Intuition, LLC, which also has offices in Clearwater and Tallahassee, FL and Tempe, AZ, will relocate 175 employees from its current Jacksonville offices at 9428 Baymeadows Rd. to the complex in the fourth quarter of this year.

The company, which also has offices in Charlotte, NC, reports that Justin Siemens has been named president, Carolinas. Siemens is now responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and structuring new development and acquisition opportunities throughout the region.

In early 2019, WeWork announced its first lease in Tampa in the Tampa Heights district. WeWork at The Heights will be located at a mixed-use development being built at 2002 N. Tampa St. on the northern end of Downtown Tampa.

In the past year, 206,300 new private-sector jobs were created in Florida overall and 24,300 private-sector jobs were created in February 2019.
