Following regulatory approval of the merger, Hackensack Meridian Health has committed to a $400 million capital investment at Englewood Health. The investment hospital officials said would further position Englewood Health as a tertiary hub in Northern New Jersey.

"A modern, safe, and reliable mass transit system is the foundation our state needs to grow our economy and reclaim our historic role as the state of innovation," said Gov. Murphy.

Denholtz Properties, which has a portfolio of office, industrial and retail space in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida, also announced the sale of a parcel of land adjacent to its 1000 N. Ashley Avenue office building in Downtown Tampa to Mill Creek of Boca Raton, FL.

"Today's news is a positive step in the right direction for all of the communities that sit on the Raritan Valley Line," said State Senator Nicholas Scutari. "One seat ride is critical for the continued economic growth of our region."

Also part of the 1031 exchange are the soon to-be-completed sales of the Chase at Overlook Ridge and the Alterra at Overlook Ridge in Boston.

Sales volume and prospecting activity held steady in the third quarter. WCRE states that third quarter leasing activity was higher in Camden County, and particularly in Cherry Hill, but fell for the region overall. Gross leasing absorption was positive, but trended lower quarter-over-quarter.
