NEW YORK CITY-Despite inking a lease for nearly 60,000 sf in Times Square's 1500 Broadway this past spring, the electronic stock exchange is planning to keep its headquarters at One Liberty Plaza in Lower Manhattan.

BURLINGTON, MA-eMed Technologies relocates its headquarters from Lexington, MA to 24,400 sf at 76 Blanchard Rd. A representative of the property owner, Archon Group, emphasizes that the current market provided the tenant with many different options to choose from.

HOUSTON-Emser Tile of Los Angeles makes a second expansion move in two years, signing for a 112,000-sf warehouse owned by Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust. The commercial tile supplier more than doubles its warehouse space with the new deal.

SEATTLE-Diane Sugimura, acting director of the city's Department of Design, Construction and Land Use, assumes the post full-time. She will be responsible for land use and construction codes, housing and zoning enforcement and urban design.
